What is it? Who are we?
Pavé Group is all about building lasting genuine relationships (soulsisterhoods!) by forming a solid group of amazing women, often from very different backgrounds, religions, locations, etc but like mindsets.
Pavé is a French term that refers to a diamond setting where the gemstones are set so closely together that they cannot be easily pulled apart. (That is how we see our friendships!) Pavé also stands for Philanthropic, Authentic, Vivacious, and Empowering – the very essence of our members and life goals.
Pavé wasn’t always Pavé. It originally started as a meetup group in Orange County California back in the summer of 2011 for ladies who lived in the OC and surrounding areas looking for new friends to share similar interests. In late 2013, we voted to create a new, inclusive, organized space. This was to help us continue to create and build our tribe with a stronger platform for our members – encouraging them to actively participate and have an open, collaborative voice in what we find important, both in our group and in our community. With this Facebook group, we are able to add our fellow girlfriends WORLDWIDE without the zip code restriction and keep our members up to date on all things Pavé in the same space, rather than in isolated subgroups.
Pavé has grown way beyond our original OC-exclusive meetup space. So far, we have hosted events in Orange County, Dallas, Ohio, Minnesota, Los Angeles, Austin, Houston, Chicago San Diego, and most recently Brisbane, Australia. We’ve taken group trips internationally to Iceland, Belize, Spain, Africa, and all over the US. As you can see, we love creating new Pavé chapters WORLDWIDE! Pavé Group is a safe space. We are here for you! If you need to vent, ask for advice, share a life update, or offer a connection for a job opportunity – post it! (Additionally, we love seeing positive affirmations and pics of you spending time with fellow members in the feed, so share those too.) Keep in mind that when it comes to content, Pavé is like Fight Club – what happens in Pavé stays in Pavé. Do not share personal information with anyone outside our organization.
Please approach all interactions in Pavé with kindness, an open heart, and honesty. Again, this Facebook group is an open space for all ladies who support our inclusive culture and empowering lifestyle. We will not condone any sort of negative activity, discrimination, toxicity, bullying, or poaching from our members or from outside of the group. We also have a no self-promotion policy. If you are unsure, ask before you post. I love seeing how we can help small businesses and develop new reciprocal relationships with female-run organizations and Pavé Group. If you see something, say something. Please report any violations to the Admin(s).
Pavé is run by an amazing Leadership Team, who each bring fabulous skills to the table to manage and help run local chapters, and add value to the future planning of Pavé Group. We’d love to have additional help, especially with our website development, social media strategy, and creating custom merchandise for Pavé Group. We see our L-Team as an open forum, so please feel free to send in ideas or a request to join if you’d like to contribute in a bigger way.
To our members, thank you for showing up and sharing your #PavéLove and support for this tribe. You are what creates the very essence of Pavé Group, and serve as powerful inspiration and enlightenment to fellow members, families, and friends WORLDWIDE.
